This walk is oriented toward being child-friendly, though all ages and abilities are invited to attend.
Excellent birding in the vicinity of the Phoenix Zoo and Desert Botanical Garden. We should see some resident desert specialties as well as migrant birds. We will meet at the parking lot on the SW corner of Curry Rd/College Ave, check the pond there, and walk south to LoPiano Mesquite Bosque. We may also drive over to check out the ponds near the famous Hole in the Rock afterward.
